It is important that you send us your TRAIN NUMBER , TRAIN NAME, COACH AND BERTH NUMBER, NAME OF CITY WHERE YOUR TRAIN IS DEPARTING FROM, AND ARRIVAL TIME AT VARANASI JN OR MUGHALSARAI JN with your email only if you are opting for pickup service.

If you do not have your exact train detail and you are thinking to find us on you own, you can easily call us from the railway station @ Rs 2/minute ONLY  from any local STD-ISD-PCO sign(telephone booth) shops. We usually recommend our guest to wait at the famous TOURIST INFORMATION CENTER AND THE INQUIRY OFFICE at the main ENTRANCE HALL nearby the PLATFORM OR TRACK NO. 1 OF VARANASI JUNCTION STATION " NOT THE MUGHALSARAI  STATION "  and call us from the  TELEPHONE BOOTH (PCO)  NEXT TO IT , ask the guy at the shop to help you if you are having problem dialing the telephone number .

BUT WE ALWAYS RECOMMEND YOU TO ORGANIZE  THE PICKUP SERVICE WITH US TO AVOID ALL THE HASSLES AS THE CITY IS FULL OF MAZE AND TWISTY ALLEYWAYS AND THE LOCALS WHO WILL ALWAYS CONFUSE YOU BY TAKING YOU  TO THE OTHER HOTELS FOR THEIR HIGH COMMISSION. 
THE LOCAL DRIVERS AT THE STATION WHO ARE NOT OUR DRIVER CAN ALSO TELL YOU THAT WE ARE FULL, UNAVAILABLE, CLOSED ETC , HENCE YOU SHOULD STAY IN THEIR BEST HOTEL , THAT IS ALL SCAM .

The Monu Family Guest House is very close indeed to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the holiest hindu religious sites in all of India. In order to maintain the right to worship in peace, there is a strong security presence maintained throughout the area, day and night. This is a great advantage for the residents of the area.

For this reason, the Government of India requires all hotels and guest houses in the area to photocopy identity papers of all guests, Indians and tourist visitors.

For your added convenience and the security of your passport, we would recommend that at a time of your choosing before you arrive, you make a photocopy of your passport for this purpose.

If you want a more personal contact at no cost, email and agree a time with Monu to chat for half an hour on gmail. If you don’t have gmail, he can send you a standard gmail invite, and then you can use the system.
